Some people think that printed books are no longer necessary

in this digital era as all writing can be stored electronically.

Others think that printed books sill play important roles.

Discuss both views and give you own opinion?

Opinions differ as to whether digital gadgets have the power of

storage of e-books, thereby there is a short term survival of printed

books or not. Although the purpose of this essay is to discuss both

the viewpoints, I firmly go with latter nation.

On the one hand, those people who believe that paper books are

not be preserved in the modern world because electronic media

not only provides opportunity of accessibility but it is also

convenient to use or carry. As everyone has the access of internet,

electronic books can be attained by just one click. Books, for

example, are uploaded on websites in the form of PDF files which

can easily be run on mobile phones as well as laptops. Additionally,

in the past time, people had to carry bundle of books when they

travelled, while nowadays there is need not to carry them as

electronic devices have inevitable storage of books. Consequently,

these are the major reasons behind this view point.

On the other hand, I opine that the extinction of printed books

would not be occurred because of authenticit factor.Publication

of these books may be done by concerned authorities and these

are written by proficient writers, therefore society can get the

quality content .However, everyone has the advantage of

uploading anything online that is why it would be difficult for

one to analyse even if the source is authentic or not. For

instance, 'Harper San Francisco' has the patent of book namely

'The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari', which cannot be published

without having trustworthy information. As a result, printed

media would not be extinct in the modern society.

In conclusion, while ebooks are easy to utilise or carry, I

strongly believe that paper books would not be disappeared

as it gives quality knowledge.
