Dear Parent,
The world is reducing to the size of the fist so let’s have a Rendezvous with “Paris “ - city of glamor, glitter, and a gateway
to unleashed dreams. We are delighted to share that we have a collaboration with Le Frehindi-Paris, an organization
which works under the patronage of the Indian Embassy in France and has been taking initiative for years to organize a
Student Exchange Program to experience the culture and learning of foreign schools all over Europe. This exchange
programme is a blooming opportunity for our young global citizens. During the exchange programme, the learners will be
taken to the partner school in Paris where they will form the bond of friendship between the two nations. Le Frehindi which
is a licensed students travel education operator by the Govt of France ( IM075180103 ) based out of Paris has extended a
warm invitation to our students to visit partner school From 10th to 19th July - 2023. Our students will stay at a secure and
healthy accommodation supervised by our French partner school with close and warm everyday care as well as cultural
exposure. The teacher escorts will be stationed in the same accommodation for 24 X 7 supervision and assistance. An
expert from Le Frehindi-Paris, will be with the group available at all times. Le Frehindi is a licensed tour operator in France
and high standards of safety and security are ensured by the company as per the European Union standards during the
entire visit. The organization's Paris based office will take care of all the requirements.

Programme layout :

1. During the entire exchange program, they will be a part of a regular French school.
2. Engage in extensive cultural exchange through activities, presentations, discussions and joint tours.
3. Display personal strengths like – dancing, singing, instrumental etc.
4. Explore the local and authentic vibe and lifestyle.
5. Certificate signed by the principals of both the participating schools to each participant.
6. There would be separate hostels for boys & girls with supervisors from Le Frehindi.

The estimated cost of the exchange programme to be borne by the parent is Rs. 2,40,000/- (Two lakh forty
thousand rupees only) per head (Excluding VISA Fees).

This cost includes :

1. Airfare (flight will be from Hyderabad with stopover in Middle East, most probaly Dubai, 2.5hrs)

2. Group Leader/Guide

3. All Meals- French/India

4. All accommodation

5. Public Transports throughout the trip

6. Entry fee to all monuments as per the itinerary

7. Travel Insurance cover

8. Sim card

9. Water Bottles

Program Cost Does Not Include :

 1. Pocket money and personal expenditure.
2. Snacks and drinks other than the ones offered in the itinerary.
3. Medical emergencies other than the ones insured.
4. Visa Fees

It has been a constant endeavor of Meridian School to encourage the children to explore new horizons, So we are
keeping the cost of the exchange programme minimal with the school actively subsidizing the cost.

Itinerary
The following itinerary has been finalized by Le Frehindi - An ATOUT - France licensed tour operator (IM 075180103)
based in Paris for the group of students & teachers of India.

Day 1: Flight will be from Hyderabad with stopover in Middle East (most probaly Dubai, 2.5hrs stopover)
The Airport Pickup: Arrive at CDG in Paris and transfer to Lyon by TGV followed by rest at Hotel in Lyon.

Day 2: SEPR visit: Welcome by administration, professors, students followed by cultural presentation by Indian students
via PPT and exchange of gifts, Indian dance demonstration & other cultural activities. Lunch at the School canteen. Pastry
making workshop at school, Tour of the school. Evening visit to place de Bellecour. Overnight stay at Lyon.

Day 3: French School workshop followed by local streets familiarisation tour & a special workshop by Lyon Metropole at
“Lumière Institute”- The BirthPlace of Cinema. Post workshop Lunch, take the 18th century funiculaire train to visit the
hilltop Fourvière around the ornate Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvière. Leisurely guided walk to experience the authentic
French shops & street life. Dinner & rest at Hotel in the evening.

Day 4: Delegation of our School will visit for UN Headquarters in Geneva in Switzerland for a guided workshop by UN
followed by Visit to “The broken chair”. Post lunch visit for a guided visit to CERN- The European research organisation
that operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world. Back to France in the evening. Indian dinner at our hotel.

Day 5: Discover the mountains of mighty Alps with a visit to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc near the junction of France,
Switzerland and Italy. Experience the Ski resorts in the mighty Alps with cable car experience from Chamonix to Plan de
L’Aiguille. Back to Lyon in the evening. Dinner & rest at Hotel

Day 6: Stay in Paris : Departure for Paris via Bus or TGV. Visit Louvre & by evening settle in Paris International Hostel
and rest. Post dinner evening tour of the city of lights via river cruise on Seine River & photo shooting opportunity at Pont -
neuf the oldest bridge. Overnight stay at Paris International hostel.

Day 7: Disneyland Paris Visit : Visit to Disneyland on the outskirts of Paris to enjoy rides & the parade . Overnight stay at
Paris International Hostel.

Day 8: Visit to EU capital Brussels in Belgium to visit EU Parliament followed by Visit to Royal Palace, Mannequin Pis visit
followed by Atomium visit. Return to Paris in evening & overnight stay at hostel.

Day 9: Early morning walking tour to sacré - coeur basilica followed by Eiffel Tower visit till 2nd floor , Evening experience
at Champs Elysées - one of the most chic street in the world . Overnight stay at Paris International hostel .

Day 10: Post breakfast departure to Hyderabad airport with stopover in Middle East (most probably Dubai with 5hrs
stopover) .
