    Sir:

    Good day!
    As you know, I have been working for your company in full capacity for 10 years now. I am getting
    aged and my family wanted my physical attention which I have deprived from them since I was
    working abroad. How I wish to keep working for you indefinitely. However, as feat may have it, I have
    no option but to step down with effect three (3) months from now. Please consider this as my formal
    resignation letter.

    Please know that I am completely thankful to the company for the support and opportunities that it
    has provided me. Thus, you have my full commitment and cooperation for a smooth transition of
    responsibilities.
