    Audition Notice for Visual Arts


    Dear Baran Rafipour

    We are pleased to receive your application to audition at Canterbury High School. Should a teacher
    need more information, they will contact you for a Google Meet. Please ensure your email address is
    correct when you apply. If you are contacted for a Google Meet, be ready at your computer 15 minutes
    before your audition time in case of technical issues. Turn your camera on so the teacher can see you.

    Please ensure you have submitted all the required documents listed below. The templates for the
    teacher references and the Option sheet can be found at
    https://sites.google.com/ocdsb.ca/canterburyhs-arts/forms . Documents should be emailed to
    arts.canterbury@ocdsb.ca . Please do not send paper copies.
    • References: Ask two teachers to fill out a reference for you; one should be from an arts teacher
    and the other should be from a non-arts teacher. Teachers can email the references directly to
    arts.canterbury@ocdsb.ca .
    • Choose your courses: Complete the Reg and Option Sheet for the grade for which you are
    applying.
    • Report Card: send the most recent report card containing marks and absences.
    • Photograph (wallet or passport sized) **Dancers - please see specific requirements for the
    photo https://sites.google.com/ocdsb.ca/canterburyhs-arts/dance **
    • Ontario students who do not attend an OCDSB school must provide a copy of their Birth
    Certificate and proof of Ontario address (i.e., Hydro Bill).

    With the exception of the teacher references, all of the above may be photographed or scanned and
    emailed to arts.canterbury@ocdsb.ca no later than January 8. Teachers should email references 
    directly to arts.canterbury@ocdsb.ca .
