CLASS PROJECT

TITLE Fashion Show

INSTITUCION TECNICO INDUSTRIAL

Alejandra Rojas Rodríguez.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE: To dramatize a fashion show using weather and clothes vocabulary.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
 To identify the correct clothes to wear according to the weather.
 To express in sentences which clothes wear according to the weather.
 To contrast the type of weather according to the different regions of Colombia.

 To identify the weather, the use of page 141 of the "way to go" book will be carried
out, in which the students must mark if the weather is good or bad. This activity must
be carried out by observing the images that are presented in the book which show
different climatic conditions and taking into account the days of the week that are
mentioned in the activity to understand if the weather on the specified day is good (✔️)
or bad. (X). Additionally, to provide greater comfort to students, it will be possible to
observe both the weather and the activity that takes place on a respective day, and in
the lower part a small legend that clarifies the action that takes place.

 To express in sentences which clothes to wear according to the weather. The teacher is
going to begin by asking about the items of clothing that they remember having learned
in the previous class. Then the teacher is going to tell the students to use unit 2 of the
book "way to go" in which the students are going to use the clothes (T-shirts, shorts,
shirts, trousers, underwear, sweater, jacket, hat, shoes, dress, socks, and blouse) that
there are next to it in small boxes, to answer the questions about weathers changes.
Each student should ask complete questions where clarity to the question being asked.

 To contrast, the type of weather the teacher is going to ask the students to go to page
143 of the book "way to go" in which they are going to observe four cities different
from Colombia where different climates are presented and which according to the
climate shown they should write what clothing would be appropriate in that climate.
For this, each student is going to make the four squares of the four corresponding cities
and write in each square the clothes that can be used in it.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY
According to the topics covered during the 4th academic period related to the weather, clothes,
regions, and the activities that can be carried out in each region, the teacher together with her
students are going to carry out a fashion show. For this, the 37 students are going to be

organized into 4 groups, each group will be assigned a type of weather (rain, Snow, Sunny and
Windy).
Subsequently, taking into account the assigned climate, each group of students must organize:
1. A catwalk where they show the type of clothing that is used.
2. Next, students should make a brief description of the activities that can be carried out in this
climate.
3. Finally, they should talk about a region of Colombia where this type of weather occurs.
It should be noted that each member of the group will be assigned a role, so that everyone
actively participates in the activity.
