Smoking and alcoholism

More than as addictions separated and isolated from the rest; work on them as a
social event.
The data in this respect is not encouraging: more than half of the world
population habitually consumes one of both -or alcohol, or tobacco-. In addition, it
is statistically presumed that the majority of tobacco and alcohol addicts begin
before reaching adulthood, so the topic is ideal for an oral or written presentation
in educational areas of young people and adolescents in general.

We highlight here the social event, because in addition to the risks inherent in the
health of both addictions (lung cancer, trachea or anxiety in the case of smoking;
and liver cancer or cirrhosis in the case of alcoholism), many are the social risks
of Both addictions, such as the risk of road accidents, change of behavior or
problems with the family in the case of alcohol addiction; and the risk of
disorders, phobias and even the jump to dangerous drugs in the case of tobacco.

We are, therefore, in the face of two issues that are not only important because
of the age when their first causes begin to manifest themselves, but because of
how difficult they have been-and are-to cope and mitigate in terms of what they
are intended to do.

By relevance, they are suggested as thematics for oral presentation, and even
for final degree projects.
