Smoking at early adult age

Different Impacts of Smoking in different Perspectives

perspectives. Smoking is mostly having some bad impacts on the people and people
under 18 years can very much be affected by it. Here, smoking can bring different
health issues, diseases like cancer, and have an impact on wellbeing.

Natural Impacts
There is some environmental influencer which can influence the people of early
adulthood for smoking. Different poster, images, advertisements can influence young
people in smoking. Again, some communities are offering easy access to smoking in a
different part of the society like near school and free zones which may make them
interested in smoking. For those reasons, people of young adulthood can get addicted
to smoking and nature can get influenced like the environment can be harmed, air can
be polluted, and nature can be unsafe for other people. However, the increase in the
number of smokers of young adulthood can bring environmental risks which may have
an effect on society.

Nurture Impacts
There can be some nurture impacts of smoking at an early adult age as there can be a
lack of education and guidance about the bad impacts of smoking in one’s life. The
children can be influenced by smoking from their school or educational institute by the
help of their friends and other parties. Again, the teacher can be an influencer as when
they will smoke openly children will be influenced a lot. However, the lack of enough
nurture can have a very bad impact on young people and get them in the darkened
world of smoking.
Conclusion
To conclude, smoking is a very dangerous and bad issue of health and wellbeing which
can create different issues like launch cancer are other diseases. So, a society is
responsible for saving young people from the baldest impact of smoking. The
consciousness can play a very significant role in this part and it can bring positive
results. However, different parties of society, nature, culture, and nurture can take
responsibilities to save young people from smoking.
Part 2: Essay on Intervention of the health issues.
Introduction
Health promotion is a very important thing to ensure the safety of public health and
making people conscious about their health and wellbeing. There are lots of
opportunities in health promotion to work for the safety of public health and work in the
sector. For example, the promotion of health can bring the awareness of people in
different issues which may results in the success of public health sector. This essay will
mainly focus the younger people who are under the issues of smoking to analyse an
intervention of the issue of their health. The key health issue of this essay is the use of
tobacco which may cause cancer and other disease and the young age people are
getting involved with that. So, the essay will recommend a proper intervention for the
health issue.
Background
Smoking is becoming a very big threat for the society and it is now affecting the society.
Young people are now becoming the victim of this problem. A survey has shown the
highest number of smokers in UK in the 25 to 35 years age group and there is also a big
number in the age group of below 24. So, it has become a great concern for the public
health as it can bring some threats for the young age people and make them the victim
of cancer and other diseases. In this situation, an intervention plan is required for the
young age people to make them safe from the affects of smoking. So, there is a scope
of analysing the intervention for a big health issue like cancer. This essay will analyse
the intervention of smoking and the success of it.
Main Body
Objectives
The key objectives of the intervention and planned activities are to:
 Find out the health issue considering the stage in lifespan.
 Determine an intervention and make an appropriate plan for it.
 Know the health promotional approaches for the intervention
 Recommend how the planned activities can get to the success.
Health Promotional Approaches for Intervention
The health promotion approaches include the approaches and strategies for the
promotion and development of the intervention of the health issue. The key issue of this
essay is smoking and there are some policies and planned activities required to prevent
the issue. Here, the smoking issue can be overcome by the consciousness of the
parents as the issue is mostly focusing on the young people who are less than 18. The
consciousness of the parents can bring their children safe from the harmful impacts of
smoking which can be very dangerous for them in their future. There are several ways
of implementing the smoking issue from the young-aged people. Firstly, different health
policies can be made for the successful implementation of the intervention. Again, the
supportive environment is to be made here. After that, some actions to be taken for the
community. The next task is to development of the personal skills which is important
here. Finally, the reorient health services can be implemented. All the steps of the plan
need to be implemented serially with all the related practices should be done on those
stages. The approaches of the promotion of health should be done well for the success
of the plan and all the parties should get involved and do their role accordingly.

Assessing the success

The first key to the success of the intervention plan is to make some practical and well-
organised policies of public health regarding the issues related to smoking. For
example, the restriction of smoking in the public place, the sales of tobacco products,
the use of tobacco products around schools or educational institute are to be included in
the public health policy. Then, a smoking free environment should be created for the
children and young people under 18 years of age which can be created by banning
smoking openly and in the public areas. The next step is to strengthen the community
skills which can be possible when the community can have enough knowledge about
the policies and make the proper use of those policies and apply them in the society.
The awareness level of the people is a big factor here in the society. The development
of the personal skills will help a lot here to use the rules practically and improve the
awareness level. Again, the promotion of the policies is very important in this condition
as the awareness level can be developed with the use of promotion. The more the
health policies will be promoted, the more people will get aware of it. The promotion can
be done by advertising, leaflets, posters, banners, and some consciousness programs.
However, the success of the plan will come automatically.

Ethical issues for intervention

All the ethical issues of the intervention should be ensured for the success of it. It is a
very big factor in the whole planned activities and should be maintained. Rules should
be followed by all and awareness should be created. However, everyone should behave
ethically.
Conclusion
Smoking is a very dangerous and harmful health issue for the people of young age and
children. The harmful effects of smoking need to be prevented which is possible with the
planned activities mentioned in this essay. The proper implementation of the plan can
bring the effectiveness and make the proper use of intervention can successfully
overcome the health and wellbeing issue.
