Identify and explain what crime scene search pattern is best suited for the crime committed. NOTE: THE
CRIME WAS TRANSPIRED IN THE STREET OR OUTDOOR. Explain your answer. Your answer/s should be
written in a short bond paper. The paper should be submitted on or before the set deadline. Failure to
submit on the said deadline will be a ground for your paper not be accepted.

For me the best search pattern suited for the crime scene is the strip or linear search because this is
useful for a wide crime scene and it can perform by 1 or multiple people by walking in
straight lines across the crime scene. ... Quadrant/zone search: A search method in which the crime
scene is divided into smaller sections (zones or quadrants) and team members are assigned
to search each section. In large outdoor areas, it is advisable to divide the area into strips about four (4)
feet wide. The policeman may first search the strip on his left as he faces the scene and then the
adjoining strips. and the search of evidence might be do it quick because there is an tendency that the
evidence disappear or removed.
