REFLECT. Think about your own use of analysis. How many decisions large and small-have
you made in the last week?

I make a lot of decisions based on analysis almost all the time and I can make an estimate on
an average of 20 decisions in a month. Ranging from breakfast to what type of clothes I put on
to begin my day.
I usually do a comparison and contrast, basically pros and cons about the type of material
length, color, and even the weather change. Also, my breakfast consists of whether I’m in a
hurry or what I have available to plan my day before it starts. What this chart tells me is I look
more at the present than the future.

1. How many different perspectives do the

authors present? The different perspectives that the author presents are about different aspects
that one can analyze be applied in writing, media, and studies

2. What is the authors' main point?

The main point is that one needs to take the evidence and details, especially keywords, into
account t that one cannot be biased about the information provided as one may simply cut off
important information, especially when making decisions.

3. What evidence do the authors use to support their points? Authors use persuasive
techniques; uniforms tubes and they support their point based on examples.
