DC motor C 4002 / C 6002 (EH)

A free-wheeling diode is used in the DC motor of the

Trumatic C 4002 und 6002 (EH) to protect the electronics from
voltage spikes.

A blown diode will result in the destruction of a transistor on the electronics!

Symptom: The DC motor starts up as soon as voltage is applied to
the unit. If such a defect occurs, the electronics and the DC motor
must always be replaced.

In the event of a free-wheeling diode short circuit, input fuse F1

is activated in winter mode. The DC motor must be replaced.

The transistor is defective if the

Transistor
heat sink is matt and tarnished.
