NAME: Alekxandra Erl. A. Manansala

COURSE/SECTION: Bsn-1c

PROFESSOR: Ms. Maria Lorena Limbo

1. What are the characteristics of Mr. Goldberg as a learner that must be taken into account when planning for
patient education?

 From my observations, it appears that Mr. Goldberg can be challenging to work with as he possesses a certain
level of firmness and inflexibility, and may refuse to listen the advice and guidance of nurses in certain
scenarios. In my opinion implementation of these measures will prove beneficial in organizing patient education
strategies. We should make the most of the opportunities provided by educational technology, identify the
individual's preferred method of learning, encourage the patient to become more interested, and activate the
patient's curiosity.

2. What behavioral objectives and domain(s) for learning should be discussed with him as the tasks to be
accomplished?

 COGNITIVE- Providing guidance to the patient on proper usage and educating them on the best way to monitor
their blood pressure at home previous to discharge is important. This ensures that they can regularly check their
own blood pressure. He also needs to have a good hold of the elements that will impact him following the
achievement of his BP monitoring. Furthermore, in terms of well-being. As educators, it is authoritative that we
offer appropriate measures in the event of the individual's blood pressure showing an increase or decrease.
 PSYCHOMOTOR- The main aim is to provide users with guidance and education on utilizing it. Initially it will be
instructed and then utilized for illustrative purposes. The nurse must be evaluated by the patient based on their
education delivery the patient is advised to perform it for the nurse.
 AFFECTIVE- Mr. Goldberg reassures the nurse and wins her trust by saying he will always monitor his blood
pressure at home and knows how to do it. Mr. Goldberg can monitor his own blood pressure at home if he
needs quick medical assistance.
