Time: 9am – 4pm

Rationale:
Interview preparation plays a key role in seeking employment. One of the biggest
mistakes in interviewing is not being fully prepared, as such school leavers will be taught
how to prepare for an interview as they now seek employment.

Objectives:
On completing this workshop, participate should be able to:
1. Adopt three (3) favourable impressions an interviewer
looks for.
2. Demonstrate a least four (4) steps to be prepared for an
interview.
3. Ask appropriate questions of the interviewer.
4. Dress appropriately for an interview

Introduction:
The workshop would be introduced by showing and
participants an interview preparation video after which the
topic will be stated

Condition: Participants will role play appropriate interview skills in


groups.
Standard: Participants will be interviewed to identify the level in with
the concepts were grasp

Employability Skills: The employability skills to be demonstrated are:


1. Communication skills (listening, reasoning and oral/writing
skills).
2. Exhibit positive self-esteem and self-confidence)

Tools and Equipment: Multimedia Projector and Laptop

Teaching Aids: PowerPoint presentation

Materials: Video, handout and worksheet

Importance of Facilitator will inform participants of at
being prepared for least four (4) things they need to know
an interview before attending an interview.

Participants will be asked to explain in their
