Role Description:
Facilitator: Ensure group is working effectively and that everyone is doing their job. The facilitator assists both the programmer and the builder. They also
ensure the workspace is tidy and the equipment is used safely and appropriately.

Programmers: Work alongside the builder and facilitator to program the robot accordingly. Also, in charge of collecting and managing the
device/laptop.

Builder: Uses the Lego to construct the robot while working alongside the programmer.

Timekeeper: Manages time and ensures building and programming are done in a timely manner. Works with facilitator to manage and maintain the
organisation of the Lego kit.

Building Tips
Partner Build - Split each team's building tasks in order to ensure that
everyone is actively involved.
• Pupil A: top of the break dancer
• Pupil B: bottom of the break dancer
Things to Sync - Syncing movement means that every move follows the
rhythm. For example, everything takes one second to complete, which
is often the case in music or dance.
There are various things to be synced in this lesson.
• Movement of the legs
• Movement of the arms
• Blinking of the pixels on the Light Matrix
• Different sounds and notes
Add More Functions - Adding a third motor and an Ultrasonic Sensor will
give your pupils more things to sync. For example:
• Movement of a third element
• Blinking of the Distance Sensor Light
• Make It Your Own - Have your pupils add bricks to personalise their
dancers.
