Research Design and Methodology

This chapter deals with the methodological procedures of the study The

Importance of Police Visibility in Preventing Robbery and Thief in Channel Ridge View,

Babatngon Leyte (y. 2020- 2022) by which the data pertinent to the research problems

were collected, it presents the description of research design and the data gathering

procedures.

Research Design

This study entitled The Importance of Police Visibility in Preventing Robbery and

Thief in Channel Ridge View, Babatngon Leyte (Y. 2020- 2022) is a qualitative research

that is to find existing information and data, regarding on how to answer the statement

of the problem. This study discussed The Importance of Police Visibility in Preventing

Robbery and Thief in Channel Ridge View, Babatngon Leyte (Y. 2020- 2022).

Research Method

In this study, the researcher used the descriptive method of research which was

appropriate in describing and telling the The Importance of Police Visibility in Preventing

Robbery and Thief in Channel Ridge View, Babatngon Leyte (Y. 2020- 2022). This

research method involves the purpose of the study which to unlock new information

which will be an essential tool for the use, and to know the cause- and – effect of the

study. Method of Data Gathering the following procedures were undertaken in gathering
data by the researchers. This involve the collecting of information by secondary sources

concerning the topic. First, the researcher used the statement of the problem as a guide

in collecting data. Then careful researched was done in line with the topic. After which,

the data gathered were analyzed and interpreted.

 CHAPTER IV

Presentation and Interpretation of Data

This chapter explains the result of data analysis that the procedure has been

reported in the previous chapter. This chapter includes the presentation and the

interpretation of data.

Presentation of Data

The data gathered from this study were collected from reliable sources. It also

discussed the importance of police visibility preventing robbery and thief in channel

ridge view. As per the data collected, in the area of pabahay , there were 30 cases

reported of this certain crime from 2020- 2023, involved of this crime almost minor.

Interpretation of Data Gathered

Based on the data that I have gathered Babatngon Police couldn’t stop patrolling

and securing the whole pabahay to maintain and reduce the any kind of crime possible

that happened.

And also the Barangay make a steps to help Babatngon Police by patrolling the

area especially this past year 2022 that a lot of crime of robbery and thief happened in

the said pabahay.

 Police visibility is very important to a place that have many possibilities for a

crimes happened. Not only for individual but for all community leaves on the area.
