The theme of destinations that I think would be perfect for a sightseeing walking tour of Manila is that of
sustainable urban heritage. Intramuros, along with Rizal Park, National Museum and Binondo, will be
presented as a ``Manila Sightseeing Walking Tour'' aimed at preserving and enhancing the city's heritage.
Sustainability is always a partner of tourism. This is because we must always think of ways to maximize
our offerings and benefits without or with minimal harm to the environment, communities, socio-
cultural and other related issues. Urban heritage is like a line between change and preservation. As the
capital city of the Philippines, Manila is constantly threatened by development destruction and presents
an ever-changing modern environment. On the other hand, Manila has historical and cultural heritage
that should be protected and preserved for its historical value.
