distinctive symbol of the city of Paris, and by extension, of France. At first, when
it was built for the 1889 World's Fair, it impressed the entire world by its stature

culture and civilization in Europe's Middle Ages. That said, the adjoining palace

the Alhambra.

close to the borders of Utah and Nevada. The Colorado River, which flows
through the canyon, drains water from seven states, but the feature we know as

the most visited places in the United States. Carved out by the Colorado River,
the Grand Canyon cuts deep into the landscape, creating dramatic cliff walls and
ledges. Visitors standing on the rim of the canyon can see down to the canyon
floor a mile below, and look out over the ridges and cliffs that run as far as the
eye can see. The South Rim is the most visited section of Grand Canyon
National Park, with a large visitor’s center, regular bus service along the Rim in
the high season, and a walkway that runs along the canyon with numerous
viewing points and platforms. The North Rim, which also has lookout areas,
provides a different perspective. This section of the park has limited access from
November to May due to snow and winter conditions.

2. If you are the UNWTO Secretary-General or the DOT Secretary, what possible
laws can you propose to ensure tourism sustainability in the Philippines,
especially during this COVID-19 pandemic?
As an UNWTO Secretary-General or the DOT Secretary I would first like to
announce to the people that are in charge or not in all our tourist attractions to
always maintain the cleanliness of the environment. As I said that we should also
maintain all the places here in the Philippines, a place for tourist attraction or not.
Keeping our environment clean is always the top priority and then next is everyone’s
discipline. I will also spread recommendations for action and giving health advice for
tourists. Next to my list pertains to the security and the wellbeing of everyone,
because only by having a peace of mind can let you enjoy your visit to a certain
place. As you know our world is currently facing a problem and that is the COVID-19
pandemic. Due to that the amount of visitors or foreigners here at Philippines
decreases.
