2 Grasp the emergency hatch cover by pushing the hand through the placard into the grip hole. Pull the

3 Pull the cotter pin out of the pin and then pull the pin out of the drilled hole to release the lanyard. While holding
the emergency hatch, repeat these steps to release the second lanyard. Put the emergency hatch cover aside.
4 Slide the latch handle of both sliding latches into the open position.
5 Insert hands into the two (2) loops. Push the emergency hatch upwards and tilt it to set it free. Put the
emergency hatch aside.
Arrange the following sequences. To initiate oxygen flow at PSU during decompression:
1 Pull the mask downward, sharply, until the pin is released to start the oxygen flow into the mask.
2 Place the mask over the nose and mouth and breathe normally. Place the elastic strap over the head
and tighten as required.
3 Check oxygen flow through the flow indicator. When the oxygen flows through the mask, the bag may
not inflate fully.
Arrange the following sequences. To open the CCRF emergency hatch during an emergency (from
the inside):
1 Remove the carpet on the emergency hatch.
2 Slide both latch handles to the OPEN position to unlatch the emergency hatch.
3 Grasp both handles and remove the emergency hatch.
4 Use one foot to kick down the emergency hatch cover.
5 Release the securing lanyards by pulling the cotter pin out and remove the securing lanyard from the pin.
Arrange the sequence. To operate ADT 406S on water.

1 Remove the protective cover (if installed) and unfasten the retaining Velcro strap. Remove the ELT from
its bracket. Pull firmly to the break the retaining metallic strap of the Activation/Identification Module.
2 Secure the end of the lanyard to a suitable tethering point as close as possible to the edge of the raft on
the same side as the sea-anchor tie point.
3 Ensure the transmitter is in ARMED mode. If NOT in ARMED mode, select the switch to ARMED prior to deploying
in water. NO further action is necessary except to clear any fouling condition with the lanyard, which may occur.
Arrange the steps in order to arm the EPAS and slide-raft in A350.
1 Open the transparent cover. 4 Close the transparent cover.
2 Remove the safety pin. 5 Stow safety pin into the stowage hole.
3 Move the arming lever to ARMED position.
Check all applicable indicators when smoke is detected.

Amber light flashes on the related ACP. SMOKE DETECTED display on FAP.
A repeated triple chime is broadcast via all loudspeakers.

S t ep 2 Page for a doctor. If NO response, page 3 more times and call TMSP (SIA) for advice or consultation
with / without medical personal onboard.
S t ep 3 Assign 1 crew to look after ill passenger. Try to use the same crew who had prior contact with ill
passenger. Crew should wear N95 mask and gloves.
S t ep 4 Isolate ill passenger, preferably to a window seat in the last 3 rows of the cabin zone. For FCL seats,
the adjacent seat must be empty.
S t ep 5 As a guide, NO other passenger should be seated within 6 feet radius from the suspected ID passenger.
S t ep 6 If possible, leave 3 rows of YCL seats in front of solid bulkhead and 2 seats beside ill passenger empty.
In-Flight Handling Guidelines Part 2. (Arrange in the correct sequence)

S t ep 1 For JCL, leave at least 1 row in front and 1 seat beside ill passenger empty. For FCL, adjacent seat be
empty.
S t ep 2 Move her to a cabin that has NO passenger but do NOT upgrade to upper class or move her to crew
bunk.
S t ep 3 Lock 1 toilet exclusively for patient’s use. Paste U/S sticker on toilet door. Lock it each time after use.
Crew need NOT clean toilet.
S t ep 4 Offer patient a surgical (NOT N95) mask from IDH Kit. If she doesn’t want to wear a mask, offer tissue
or towel and ask her to cover her mouth when she coughs.
S t ep 5 Offer medical volunteers N95 mask and gloves. Crew working in the same zone as ill passenger may
wear mask and gloves.
S t ep 6 Offer goggles to doctor and crew attending to patient if ill passenger is NOT wearing face mask.
S t ep 7 Do NOT actively offer N95 to other passengers. Only on request. Priority to be given to those seated
in the same zone as ill passenger.
