    PrepaRATion in Action

    We the researchers are conducting research wherein rats are significant in our

    study. Me and Sean Silverio, my co-member in the research, were assigned to buy the

    rat that is needed for the experiment. We managed to purchase a rat in Pet Land Shop

    which is located at Dubinan East, Santiago City on March 13, 2023.

    To begin, we the researchers checked online and asked people about where to

    buy an albino rat around the city. Afterwards, we went to a different pet shop here in

    Santiago City. It took us an hour to find a rat that is needed for the experiment because

    some pet shops don't sell a rat that we were looking for. After that, we finally arrived at

    Pet Land which is selling the rats that we need. The rat that they sell costs 60 pesos.

    Lastly, we purchased it using the money that the members contributed and went back to

    school and put the rat in the enclosure that my members made for them.

    As a result, we the researchers now have the rats that they needed in proceeding

    with the experiment. We placed the rats in an enclosure that has a hole to breathe in and

    water to drink. We fed and took care of them.

    The researchers head to Pet Land to purchase the rats they need to continue with

    the tea testing for their experiment. They make sure that the rats are healthy and that

    nothing goes wrong that will result in a positive outcome.
