 ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

There are TWO (2) Parts of your coursework. Part 1 (60%) is a written assignment
(60%) and Part 2 (40%) includes online learning activities and MCQ quizzes.

PART 1: WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT (60%)
Part 1 of this assignment has THREE (3) questions. Answer ALL questions.

Question 1 (20 %)
Demonstrating Collaborative Skills
a) Participate collaboratively with your coursemates to discuss the following topic.

Provide suggestions on how Malaysian school teachers and students can cope with
the education post-pandemic.

b) Your post will be evaluated based on:

i. Your critical thinking and critical analysis on the discussion topic.
ii. You are required to at least post ONE (1) posting on your views of the
discussion topic.
iii. You are also required to at least post ONE (1) posting for commenting on
your coursemate’s posting. You need to discuss what you agree with and
also what you disagree.
 Example 1, you may agree and disagree with some of the comments made
by coursemate A, you may write your agreement and disagreement in ONE
(1) posting.

with your coursemate B, meaning you will be responding in 2 different
postings, where posting to coursemate A will be about agreement and

Question 2:

After reviewing the question, the biggest challenge that Lali went trough is time
management. I believe Lali is capable of succeeding in work and studies if he
improves this problem. Lali must highlight the to-do list for a schedule for the
day and be realistic about what he can get done. By structuring the day, Lali can
get the advantage of the times to be more focused and motivated on doing the
important work and able to take a break to stay mentally fresh. Once Lali got a
good week plan in place, try to stick to it.
Besides, Lali must know his limit in managing the situation between work and
studies. Lali can take a few options which is reducing the subject every
semester. It is better to graduate late than to drop studying. Other than that,
Lali can get the advice by talking to a lecturer considering about class or
program options that will work for his work schedule. He can also select topics
for assignments based on his job experiences.
Lali must have a good networking with his classmates. The easy communication
and information sharing technologies such as make use of group message
board.
Lali can start doing the interactives activities in order to cope with his stress,
health and studies such us joining the paint classes and axe throwing. Activity
like this can get him focused on something other than what he is stressing
about. He will be doing something different like axe throwing are a great way to
get some of the frustration that stress can bring.
In Lali’s case, I have applied the 5 critical thinking which is observation, analysis,
inference, communication and problem solving. First, I need to notice and
predict the problem that occur in this situation. Next, I analyse the factor and
gather all the information in this situation to find the best solution.
Furthermore, he need to change to healthy life by eating diet food and always
get enough sleep to make sure his body can do well. Plus, Lali can overcome the

 stress by doing the physical activities. It can help him to bring calmness in his
body and mind by putting himself in a relaxed environment. He also can go for a
walk in the fresh air.

Question 3 :

Road accident can be clarified as a coincidence happens between one vehicle or more,
that causing injury for the driver and passenger, damage and impact pattern on vehicle.

As per figure 1, we are able to see the huge difference on the number of road accidents
between Selangor and Perlis. It is because Selangor has a huge of population about 6.99
million compared to Perlis about 0.28 million only. The public transportation such as
LRT, KTM and busses unable to accommodate the total population in Selangor.
Therefore, some of them choose to drive to work or daily errands.

‌The factors of road accidents are road conditions. Narrow road, uneven road surfaces,
potholes and other road hazards can cause the drive to lose control of their vehicles.
Dangerous road condition accidents can have adverse effects such as serious and life-
threatening injuries. The injuries sustained may cause the victim to require lifelong
treatment such as brain injuries, paralysis, spinal fractures and internal injuries. Next,
regularly check the maintenance of your vehicle to ensure that the vehicle is in good
condition. Always follow the maintenance schedule given by the mechanic especially if
planning to drive long distances.

In addition, the behaviour of the driver himself is also the cause of the number of
accidents such as reckless and dangerous driving. A selfish driver who is willing to run a
traffic light, enter an intersection without a signal, change lanes without looking in the
mirror is a real nuisance to other drivers. We as harmonious and considerate citizens
should always be careful on the road. We should not be the cause of someone’s injury and
trauma.

Nowadays, digital literacy skills are well-known where it makes it easier for a person to
find the desired information. In this content, I’m using the most popular term which is
information and communication technology (ICT) where information is obtained from the

internet platform. Basically, ICT literacy is digital technology, communications tool and
networks to access, obtain, searching and evaluate information. ICT help people to get
information where you only need a computer and internet.
