2.) Design a one day itinerary of Kathmandu valley including Nagarkot
using surface transport only.
A Day Tour to Kathmandu valley and Nagarkot
900hrs
Guest pickup at the Hotel Grand. Board the bus to Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO
World Heritage Site.
1000hrs
Spend some time walking around the stupa and soaking in the serene atmosphere.
1100Hrs-1200Hrs
Grab some breakfast at one of the many cafes or restaurants near the stupa.
1200Hrs-1330Hrs
Board the bus to Pashupatinath Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is
one of the most sacred Hindu temples in the world and is located on the banks of the
Bagmati River. Spend a few hours exploring the temple complex and observing the daily
rituals.
1330Hrs-1500Hrs
Board the bus to Bhaktapur, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is known for
its beautiful medieval architecture and pottery. Explore the narrow streets of Bhaktapur
and visit the famous Durbar Square.
1500Hrs
Board the bus to Nagarkot, which is about 30 km from Bhaktapur. Nagarkot is famous
for its stunning views of the Himalayas and is a popular spot for watching the sunrise
and sunset.
1630Hrs-1730Hrs
Reach to Nagarkot. Head to a vantage point and enjoy the breathtaking views of the
mountains.
1730Hrs-1830Hrs
After watching the sunset, head back to Kathmandu and have dinner at a local
restaurant.and get back to hotel.
Note: Please be aware that the traffic in Kathmandu can be quite unpredictable and
delays are common, so it is recommended to start your day early to avoid any issues.
Also, keep in mind that the road to Nagarkot can be quite steep and winding, so it may
not be suitable for those prone to motion sickness.
3.) Prepare a checklist for handling arrival
