4. PROBLEM STATEMENT

In this work, The mental health tracker system is a software tool has been proposed to help
individuals monitor and manage their mental health. This system typically involves a mobile
or web-based application that allows users to log their daily moods, track their symptoms,
and monitor their progress over time. The system may also include features such as
medication reminders, coping strategies, and access to mental health resources. By using this
tool, individuals can gain greater insight into their mental health and identify patterns or
triggers that may affect their well-being. This information can be shared with healthcare
professionals to help inform treatment plans and improve outcomes. Overall, the mental
health tracker system can be a valuable tool in promoting mental wellness and improving
overall quality of life. The purpose of a mental health tracer is to provide a standardized
method for assessing mental health status and monitoring changes over time. It is designed to
be a user-friendly and efficient tool that can be used in a variety of settings, including
healthcare facilities, schools, and workplaces. The mental health tracer typically consists of a
questionnaire that assesses various aspects of mental health, such as anxiety, depression, and
stress. People who can’t share their mental problem with their family that’s why they become
depressed. If there is anyone who listen the problem of that person then this problem can be
solved because if they share, they can get many solutions and many ways to get rid of that
problem. So, in my application their will be direct contact to mental counselors. They will
give solve the problem if they want to get best solutions.
In conclusion, a mental health tracer is a valuable tool for assessing and monitoring mental
health status. It can provide valuable data that can be used to inform interventions aimed at
promoting mental health and well-being. With proper design and implementation, a mental
health tracer can be an effective tool for promoting mental health in a variety of settings.

7.PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Mental health disturbance problem have become big issue this time due to increasing
prevalence and impact on individuals and communities. Mental health problems can affect
people of all ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic status, and can have a significant impact
on an individual's quality of life. One of the reasons why mental health problems are a big
issue is that they are often not well-understood or discussed openly, which can lead to stigma
and discrimination. Many people with mental health problems may feel isolated or ashamed
of their condition, which can prevent them from seeking help and support. We have to
express our emotion. Example of mental health problem like anxiety disorder, emotional
disorder, bipolar affective disorder, depression, eating disorder, etc.
During covid 19 pandemics due to strict lockdown all have to stay at their home. We had lots
of time but we have nothing to do. So, when there is no work then people start over thinking
about future or past. So, this made people frustrated, low confident, got angry. Due jobless,
no money and many thoughts runs at their mind so this make people mental health. Many
people start taking drugs and got alcohol addicted. People can’t speak their issues and mental
health openly. They think people will judge then and take thing lightly. There are many
situation when people think to talk to person who will understand that person. In our app we
will provide direct contact to mental health counsellor who will resolve the issue. Some
people are bored so they don’t understand what to do at that time and that loneliness make
people frustrated this type of problem will be solved by giving motivation section where
people will do some type of game and things to read so that they can busy with somethings.

8.FUTURE SCOPE AND FURTHER ENHANCEMENT OF THE
PROJECT
1. Improved accuracy: Future mental health trackers may use advanced algorithms and
machine learning to improve the accuracy of mood and symptom tracking. This could
lead to more personalized and effective treatment plans.
2. Wearable technology: Wearable devices such as smartwatches and fitness trackers
may be used to collect data on physical activity, sleep patterns, heart rate, and other
biometric data that could be used to monitor and manage mental health.
3. Virtual reality therapy: Virtual reality (VR) technology may be used to create
immersive therapeutic experiences for individuals with mental health conditions, such
as exposure therapy for phobias or anxiety disorders.
4. Artificial intelligence (AI): AI could be used to analyse large amounts of mental
health data and provide personalized recommendations and treatment plans based on
an individual's symptoms and history.
5. Remote monitoring: Mental health trackers could be used to remotely monitor
patients who are receiving treatment for mental health conditions, allowing for more
frequent check-ins and adjustments to treatment plans.
6. Integration with other health technologies: Mental health trackers could be integrated
with other health technologies such as electronic health records (EHRs) and
telemedicine platforms to provide a more holistic view of a patient's health and enable
more coordinated care.

9.IMPLEMENTATION AND METHEDOLOGY
Implementing a mental health tracker using React Native would involve several steps.

1. Define the features and functionality of the mental health tracker: Before you start coding,
you need to determine what features and functionality you want to include in the tracker. This
could include things like mood tracking, symptom tracking, medication reminders,
journaling, and more.
2. Plan the user interface: Once you have defined the features and functionality, you need to
plan out how the user interface will look and function. This could include wireframes or
mock-ups of the screens and interactions.
3. Set up your development environment: To start coding, you will need to set up your
development environment. This will involve installing React Native and any necessary
dependencies.
4. Create the project and set up the basic structure: Use the React Native CLI to create a new
project, then set up the basic structure of the app, including the navigation, screens, and
components.
5. Implement the features: Begin implementing the features and functionality of the mental
health tracker, starting with the most important ones. Use appropriate components and
libraries for things like data input, storage, and visualization.
6. Test and refine: Once you have implemented the features, thoroughly test the app to ensure
it is working as expected. Refine the user interface and functionality as needed based on user
feedback and testing results.
7. Publish and maintain: Once the app is complete, publish it to the app store(s) and continue
to maintain and update it as needed.

10.ADVANTAGE
1. Increased self-awareness: A mental health tracker can help you become more aware
of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. By tracking your moods and symptoms,
you can identify patterns and triggers that affect your mental health.
2. Better communication with healthcare providers: If you are seeking professional help
for a mental health condition, a tracker can help you communicate more effectively
with your healthcare provider. You can share your tracker data with them, and they
can use it to make more informed treatment decisions.
3. Improved treatment outcomes: By tracking your mental health, you can better
understand what works for you and what doesn't. This can help you and your
healthcare provider develop a more effective treatment plan.
4. Reduced stigma: Using a mental health tracker can help reduce the stigma associated
with mental illness. It can help you recognize that mental health is just as important as
physical health and that seeking help is a sign of strength.
5. Increased accountability: A mental health tracker can help you stay accountable for
your mental health. By tracking your progress, you can see how far you've come and
stay motivated to continue making positive changes.

11.RESULT & CONCLUSION

Fig: Execution of project

13
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, mental health trackers have the potential to be a valuable tool for individuals
seeking to monitor and manage their mental health. With the widespread use of smartphones
and wearable technology, mental health trackers have become increasingly accessible and
user-friendly. They can provide individuals with insights into their mood, symptoms, and
behaviour patterns, and can help them to identify triggers and develop effective coping
strategies. Mental health trackers may also be beneficial for mental health professionals, as
they can provide additional data and insights into a patient's condition, which can inform
treatment plans and improve patient outcomes. Additionally, mental health trackers have the
potential to increase access to mental healthcare by allowing individuals to monitor and
manage their mental health from the comfort of their own homes. However, it is important to
note that mental health trackers should not be viewed as a replacement for professional
mental healthcare. While they can be a useful tool for monitoring symptoms and tracking
progress, they should not be used as a substitute for medical advice or treatment.
