CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
• Affiliate Dashboard: This is the main interface for affiliates, providing access
to information such as earnings, performance metrics, and available
promotions. It may also include tools for creating and tracking affiliate links
and for generating reports.
• Merchant Dashboard: This is the interface for advertisers, allowing them to
manage their affiliate program, set commission rates, approve affiliate
applications, and view performance metrics.
• Product Catalog: This is a database of products or services available for
affiliates to promote. It may include details such as pricing, descriptions, and
images.
• Affiliate Links: These are unique URLs that affiliates use to promote
advertisers' products or services. When a user clicks on an affiliate link and
makes a purchase, the affiliate earns a commission.
• Payment Processing: This allows affiliates to receive their commissions
through various payment methods, such as PayPal, bank transfer, or check.
• Marketing Materials: This includes resources such as banners, ads, and
email templates that affiliates can use to promote advertisers' products or
services.

EXISTING SYSTEM AND NEED FOR THE WEBSITE
The existing systems for communication include phone calls, emails, text
messages, and social media platforms. While these methods have been effective
for communicating over long distances, they are not always efficient or
convenient for real-time communication. Phone calls and emails may require a
delay in response time, while text messages and social media platforms may not
be suitable for professional or business communications.
Real-time chat applications, on the other hand, allow for instant messaging and
communication in real-time. They provide a more efficient and convenient way
to communicate with others, regardless of their location. With real-time chat
applications, users can quickly exchange information, collaborate on projects,
and provide support to customers or clients.
Real-time chat applications are essential in today's digital age, where remote
work and collaboration have become increasingly common. They provide a
platform for individuals and businesses to stay connected, exchange ideas, and
build relationships with others. Furthermore, real-time chat applications can
improve productivity, streamline communication, and enhance customer
service.
