Subject: Payment of sampling charges for Micro Irrigation components

through PDMC Scheme.

The mandate of MICADA is to provide distribution of water to each

farmer through provision of watercourses and on farm Micro Irrigation comprising
sprinkler, mini sprinkler and drip system under PDMC Scheme. As per MI
implementation guidelines, MI components installed in farmer’s field are required
to be checked from quality aspects.

The work of ‘collection of samples of MI components from the field and

according testing of samples from any testing laboratory approved by GOI/ State
Govt. or any other lab approved by competent authority’ has been assigned to
ME&QC wing of MICADA and proposal of same is already approved by W/
Administrator MICADA (Annexure 1-4). It was further decided by higher
authorities that the testing charges of MI components shall be booked under PDMC
budget.

Now the various samples of MI components of Drip, Mini-Sprinkler &

sprinkler has been collected by us and accordingly submitted to CIPET Baddi for
testing. The detail of testing charges of 25 no. samples submitted by CIPET Baddi is
as under:-
