Chapter 1: Business Description
A. Mission and Vision
Mission
An innovative business dedicated to giving affordable, authentic, high-quality, and multipurpose products to all kinds
of customers with an emphasis on meeting the demands of customers perfectly and constantly providing satisfaction by
providing them with a versatile yet affordable bag.
Vision
A well-known bag company motivated by providing universal and unique products to fulfil the needs and wants of
each customer while utilizing eco-friendly resources to produce high-quality and affordable goods.
Objectives
 To provide a unique customer experience by giving them impeccable and authentic products.
 To deliver innovative goods and services to consumers through creative and unique designs.
 To promote and convey significance to the local industry.
 To increase and maintain profitability.
 To expand and multiply the brand awareness of the target market.

B. Business Overview
Many products, such as tote bags, become popular as our generation keeps developing. Many small businesses or
new entrepreneurs decided to sell tote bags online, especially since many younger generations, such as generation Z and
millennials, consider it an aesthetic style. Bags, despite their simplicity, have been essential for the growth of human society
because they allow consumers to efficiently gather their things and materials and carry more items than they can hold in
their hands. With this, it sparked the idea for the business "Bagsatile."
Bagsatile offers high-quality and unique products with different kinds of variations to give customers a wide range of
options. The business will produce fashionable, affordable, authentic, and environmentally friendly bags. Bags are popular
these days, especially tote bags, but Bagsatile wants to be different, so the business takes it to the next level and produces
innovative products. Bagsatile will provide products that have long-lasting and unique materials that can also be
customized. Through this concept came the new brand "Bagsatile," which means "Versatile Bag." What distinguishes the
company from others is that Bagsatile will use thrift materials to reduce costs and help the environment.
The business is focused on developing a multipurpose bag made of reusable materials. It will contribute to an
affordable and environmentally friendly product that will meet the demands of our customers. The multipurpose bags have

different sizes: small, medium, and large. It can be a sling, shoulder, or handbag. For this to be possible, the strap will be
adjustable to the preferred length of the customers. It will be supported by buttons and zippers which will assure each
customer that the bag is secure and safe. The product will have pockets and compartments to help customers organize
their belongings. The business came up with the idea of how they can sustain reusable materials in making an innovative
product. It is done on purpose to attract the market. Bagsatile keeps finding ways to improve and produce unique bags to
make the products more customer-friendly.

Business Concept
Bagsatile is a business that produces and offers different variations of multipurpose bags. In today's generation,
there are many thriving businesses that offer tote bags, sling bags, and many others, and are enjoyed by many young
people. However, every consumer has different preferences in what style they want to wear the bags. Thus, the business
wants to give the consumers convenience and another option where they can buy a multipurpose bag, they can have a bag
that can be both a sling and a handbag at the same time. Moreover, the business will offer the bag in different sizes, small,
medium, and large. The business will also offer a tote bag and a small pouch.
One of the greatest uniqueness of the brand and what makes our business stand out among the brand in the
marketplace is that the materials used for the bag are thrift clothes. But the business still values and ensures the quality of
the product while also promoting being environmentally friendly. The target market of the business is the millennials and
generation Z, as they are the ones who are very engaged in purchasing these products. The product is also made
affordable for the consumer to avail it. The business also offers consumers to customize the bag with an additional fee, they
can choose any design of patches available.
With the dedication to promoting local brands, the business will offer products that are authentic and aesthetically
convenient for consumers. Bagsatile offers services and manufactured goods that target not only the youth but also all
ages. The designs of bags will vary depending on the taste and style the customers want to have.

Logo
Textual Elements
The brand name Bagsatile was placed in the center of the logo. The
whole logo used monochromatic colors to complement each fundamental part.
The brand name is divided into two phrases: Bag and Satile, and the acronym
BST is implemented to create the logo. The brand used overlapping textual
elements to design the logo. The whole brand name is visible in the lower part of
the logo. We used splendid font and wrote it in all uppercase so that many
people who see it can read and be attracted to it. The logo was designed like
this because it is simple and minimalist to attract many customers.

Symbolism
The logo of the business symbolizes the whole brand name. It is made up of overlapping letters that represent Bagsatile's
acronym, BST. The big letter B signifies the word "Bag" from the brand name. It conveys the products which the business
will offer. Over the letter, B is the letter S and T, which is the suffix word "satile." It symbolizes how the business is versatile
and different from the other brands.

Color Scheme
The logo uses a monochromatic color scheme, it is a color palette in which single tint/color is used as the basis for
all the shades and hues found within an image such as a logo. The logo of Bagsatile is composed of only the color blue but
in different shades, such as dark and light shades. Blue is the chosen color of the logo because it reflects the material used
by the business to make bags which is denim. The colors represent the simplicity and authenticity of the brand.

Tagline
The official tagline of the business is “Carry your style with Bagsatile.” The message of the tagline is that when the
products the business is offering are versatile and can be used in multiple ways. It has a style that is universal and perfect

C. Products and Services


The business delivers authentic products and services that are not in the usual market. It offers products that are
designed using various types of denim and thrift garments, which is why the design is inconsistent but distinct from the
others. It is not the typical bag that they provide to other businesses because Bagsatile is more environmentally friendly and
cost-effective. Bagsatile will also implement services to help customers customize the product they want. The product
variation will range from three different types of the bag: multipurpose bags, tote bags, and pouches. The multipurpose bags
come in different sizes: small, medium, and large.

I. Product Description
The business offers a new palate product, which is the multipurpose bag. There are five various types of bags,
including multipurpose bags, which come in small, medium, and large sizes. The strap can be adjusted to the preferred
length or bag each customer wants. It can be a sling bag, shoulder bag, or handbag. Bagsatile will also offer other
variations, such as the tote bag and mini pouch, to deliver many choices to customers. The fact that it is fashioned from old
and used clothing further distinguishes it from other kinds of bags. Nonetheless, consideration is given to the material's
assurance of high quality.
The multipurpose and tote bag features an adjustable strap so that customers can choose the length they prefer. To
secure the items inside, the different variations will also have buttons and zippers. There will be pockets and compartments
around the bag to help customers organize their stuff. A mini pouch and tote bags are also provided to offer our product an
extra competitive edge.
Each bag will vary from the others because of the materials the business will use. Different kinds of denim and thrift
clothes will be utilized to create the product, which is why the design is inconsistent but distinct from the others. It is not the

Bagsatile utilizes and implements customization and interactive service wherein the business will offer each
customer the exchange of information to deliver the product to the kind of style they want and prefer. Customers proceed
directly to the counter or any available staff member to purchase the product they want to buy. They can ask for a request

about the customization of the bag if they would like to add it. They can select from a variety of patches to apply to the bag,
and then they can come back for it 2 to 3 days after the purchase. Furthermore, the business will offer a variety of bag
designs from which customers can choose, so they are not limited to a single taste. Bagsatile provides services that can
nourish and develop the relationship with the customers to become long-term. The business wants people of all ages to use
and buy the products they sell, especially millennials and members of generation Z, so we want to provide services where
they will feel heard and acquainted. Prioritizing customer satisfaction and meeting the demands are vital aspects of the
business.

Market characteristics play a vital part in the success of the business. The brand has several key features to
evaluate to gather information and analyze each market factor. Market characteristics will explore the elements of the
business, including its location, description of the immediate area, accessibility, and potential customers. This part will also
examine how all of these characteristics will benefit the business, ensuring its strength and effectiveness in the increasingly
competitive market.

I. Location
Bagsatile will open a small stall inside the Divi Mall in Pulo, Cabuyao City, Laguna, on the 1980 National Road. The
immediate area covers institutions such as Pulo Elementary School, Centro Mall, and Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Church.
Other establishments such as Arabella Homes, KFC, and McDonalds are also covered around the location. The high rate of
traffic in the area, because of the existence of famous establishments such as a church, malls, and fast-food chains, will
enable the business to attract potential customers. Schools and subdivisions nearby will also boost the potential customer
base. Since the company is still in its early stages, the owners decided to locate it in a famous scope and in a small space
to reduce the costs associated with operating it.

II. Description
Immediate Area
Bagsatile is located inside the Divi Mall Pulo, 450 meters away from Pulo Barangay Hall. It's accessible and easy
for consumers to visit the place because it's just along the highway. The area of our store is not big, it is just a small and
simple stall since we're just starting the business. The business location is also surrounded by many establishments and is
always crowded, this is why the place is ideal for business. McDonald’s Pulo, Dali, and St. Francis of Assisi Parish Church
were also located around the area. Villages and subdivisions are also located near the area, such as Birmingham Village,

Cabuyao Central Subdivision, Arabella Homes, and Mahogany Village. Also, Centro Mall, Pulo Elementary School, Pulo
Senior Highschool, and 7-Eleven are just walking distance from the place of the business. Many fast-food restaurants such
as KFC, and “karenderias” can be seen near the business place.

Traffic Volume
Bagsatile is located inside the Divi Mall, Pulo Cabuyao, Laguna, near the Centro Mall. The area is within the
highway and is known for always having congested traffic. It is positioned surrounded by many well-known establishments.
Furthermore, Pulo has a population of around 35,000 individuals, which is why various transportation options are available
such as buses, jeepneys, and tricycles. The traffic is always heavy, especially on weekends when many people visit malls
and churches, causing many crowds. Terminals of tricycles are also everywhere around the villages and subdivisions.
However, there are traffic lights and enforcers to direct traffic in the area.

Accessibility
The business is located in an accessible area, wherein it will make it more comfortable for potential customers to
visit the store. Customers will find it easier to park and stop by the business since the mall has a parking lot. Customers will
find it more convenient to visit the store because public transportation such as buses, jeepneys, and tricycles are available.
The walking distance of the location will also make it simple for people living nearby to visit Bagsatile. It wouldn't be hard for

B. Target Costumer Profile


I. Potential Costumer
The local brand and innovative business, Bagsatile, is established at a small kiosk inside the Divi Mall in Cabuyao,
Laguna. Its area on the mall is a significant opportunity for starting a business. It has an extensive market. Schools, malls,
fast food restaurants, and subdivisions cover the area, all of which are easily accessible by walking. Market segmentation is
provided to present a comprehensive analysis of the target customers and to fully understand its potential customers,
demographic, psychographic, and geographic studies are conducted. It will undergo a more thorough investigation to meet
each customer's demands, wants, and needs. Bagsatile has a diverse consumer base because its area is located in a mall
surrounded by various establishments. Including its geographic analysis and considering the age range, it will appeal to all
ages: children, teenagers, adults, and senior citizens. In addition, people from nearby institutions, subdivisions, and social
groups of students, workers, teachers, friends, and families are possible customers of Bagsatile. This business will satisfy
the demands of every customer.

target customers would be the Millennials and younger generations looking for a bag that is unique, creative, and cost-

Covered in the area is an academic institution, Pulo National High School is one example of this. It is only a walking
distance and is near to the mall. During weekdays throughout operating hours, teachers, parents, guardians, other school

bags. They can persuade them to make a purchase to use for their jobs or academic endeavors. Bagsatile can provide
products for these reasons, such as students and teachers must carry stuff to and from school, and the materials must be
durable. After using other bags for a year, these students must purchase this bag for long-term effectiveness.
People who will and are inside the mall are also potential customers. Employees who want a convenient carrier for
their belongings can purchase from the business. Thus, they need a bag to give them a simple way to move their things
without any type of hassle or discomfort. Other shoppers are those who will enter the mall to buy or eat products. They will
find and be drawn to the business since it sells authentic and reasonably priced products.
Other potential customers are the people who will attend the mass in the church. After the mass, Filipinos are
famously known for eating or shopping in a mall. A family, a group of friends, or an individual will want to enter the area's

Various bag styles are currently in high demand. As a result, the Bagsatile business was established. Bagsatile will
provide unique, affordable, and fashionable bags for everyone. With the adaptive business, our primary focus markets are
millennials and generation Z. The target market was narrowed down to five groups. These are divided into:
1. The employees surrounding the establishment,
2. Shoppers in the mall,
3. Family and friends from the nearby subdivision,
4. Students from surrounding schools, and

In addition, when deciding on the above-mentioned individuals, all factors necessary to choose an appropriate
target market were taken into account, such as their demands, needs, wants, availability, and preferences.
The first category contains the employees surrounding the establishment. Most often, Divi Mall personnel is the first
to know about and see our product, and they can instantly decide whether to look at it and purchase it. Also, the workers
are not restricted by demographics thus, the bags fit their preferences. Since they go to work every day, these multipurpose
bags are very convenient for their belongings and stuff.
For the second category, mall shoppers are the second-biggest target market because they are the mall's "buyers."
Since the bags are for everyone, these customers include kids, millennials and Generation Z, adults, etc. who are one of the
target customers for the business. In addition, teens enjoy shopping at malls, therefore they have a strong affinity for bags.
Not only that, but a unique bag displayed in a mall will catch their attention and possibly persuade them to purchase the
product.
Moreover, because of its convenience, the surrounding subdivision's families and friends make an excellent target

promenade and that leads them to go to the malls. Furthermore, while some individuals might just want to look around,

Her and other fashion or bag stalls. The mall, convenience stores, and hangout fast food restaurants are the spotted indirect
