2. Background of Transportation in Cavite.

Cavite largely relies on land transportation, such as the popular jeepney, bus, and tricycle. Cavite
also provides more comfortable transportation options like as air-conditioned buses, trains, taxis, UV
express, and mini-buses, as well as a baby bus that looks like a jeep and is less expensive than a bus.
There is plenty of economical transportation in Cavite, with prices ranging from PHP 12-100 (twelve-
one hundred pesos) depending on distance traveled. Also, as a result of road improvement, Cavite
currently has a smooth road that gives greater convenience and less hassle travel. Cavite only has a
few water transportation options, including a rapid craft in Kawit, a water jeepney in Tanza, a 2GO
Ferry in Ternate, and a boat in Tagaytay that use for island-hopping.
