To center a title on your page, use the alignment buttons in the toolbar.

Align Left starts each line of text at the left margin, just like when you write with a pencil or pen. The right
edge of each line is uneven, or ragged. Your reports are almost always left-aligned, unless your teacher tells
you something else.

Alight Right starts each line of text at the right margin. The left edge of each line is uneven, or ragged. Right-
aligned text is often used for page numbering, or to add your name, class, and date to the top of the page.

Center aligns each line of text in the center of the page, between the left and right margins. Headings and
titles in a document often have center alignment.

Justify adds space between characters so that every line of text touches both the left and right margin. The
text is not uneven or ragged at either margin. Justify is mostly used in professional publications, such as
newspapers and magazines, because it has a very neat look.
