A letter from the future

I am writing from the year 2043 and from an interesting new collaboration that combines the hospitality
industry, elderly people and kindergartens.

It is the new trend, the new cool and hip collaboration and innovation that aims to keep the elderly in good
shape and company and to have someone take care of the children of the working people. One more cool
thing is that this company has combined it with the hospitality industry.

The company is called ILO and is in my opinion the coolest new company ever. They have a mansion that is
very sustainable, they farm their own veggies and flowers, and they have solar and wind power. It is only
run by a couple of masterminds, and they really are making the world a better place. Nature, people, power,
technology and economy. They really thought it all when founding the company. If I remember correctly
Sentra’s megatrends were one of the key factors what drove them to start up the company back then.

Do you still remember when there was no one working in the field of elderly and childcare?

Still remember the increasing mental health problems?

We were not doing so well in the early 2000 century. This was the inspiration of ILO to figure out something
new for the future. It was a rocky road to start but I am glad they did it anyway.

This collaboration is a brilliant solution for everyone, I think. It really saves nature and helps people equally.
People are feeling better, and the restaurant is a big hit. You never know what you will get. Everything is
seasonal of course but there are no menus. The elderly, the founders and everyone in the kitchen are
working together and deciding everyday what they will make. It is always a splendid adventure to go and
eat. You can smell and taste the freshness of homegrown veggies. And when you make food with good
intentions it just simply tastes better. You always leave with a smile. The elderly and children are farming the
veggies together and the robotics are helping as well. They have invented a whole new system for
harvesting for example. That way they have more time to figure out the future and time for some fun
activities.

The small hotel is very sweet as well. All the rooms are different looking and cozy. They have been
decorated in a sustainable and ecological matter. All this is accessible on line and you can add everything
extra in your shopping cart on the site. Dinner times you should definitely book in advance, the restaurant is
so popular. The location is also super beautiful. It’s on the outskits of Brussels. Close to the city but still very
much in nature. The nature reserve starts from border of their property.

You know they got reworded last year?

“The best newcomer” in the group sustainable future. They are also partly founded by the government.
Such a pleasure to see this kind of greatness happening nowadays.

You can book a stay for a week or two. That includes breakfast that is fully organic but is served by small
robots. How cool is that? And of course the spectacular dinner that I told you about. In your spare time you
can go hiking or drive an electric car to the centrum of Brussels for lunch or whatever you like. You can also
do some old-school gardening if that pleases you.
