France, while reflecting on the loss of time and

Bukidnon, tudbulul was said to be a strong,
brave,and kind warrior. Who fought against
colonists who wanted to take their land, tudbulul
was the first to lead the battle it was said that as
the army of bukidnon tudbulud never gave up
and fought more, in the end they manage to fend
off the enemy and tudbulul was hailed as a hero
and a leader to the army and became an
inspiration to keep fighting for their freedom and
rights. Until one day tudbulul vanished and from
there on only memories of him and his heroic
deeds were left.

The story is about a maiden who possesses great beauty, kindness, and intelligence.
Amongst many suitors she fell in love with mario a handsome, kind, generous, and caring
man. The two eventually decided to marry. However, rosa noticed how her husband-to-
be appeared sick day by day, upon asking him he told her the truth and told her that she
could leave and go look for a man who could be with her for all her life, rosa disagreed
and vowed to be with him till his final breath. The two go married, rosa grieved her
husband's death eventually falling ill and dying out of the sadness of losing her
husband, before she passed away rosa asked to be buried next to the man she loved. On
rosa’s grave a plant grew, the plant sprouted a beautiful flower and upon seeing this the
people compared the beauty of the flower to that of rosa and eventually the flower was
called “rosas” named after rosa

In this story, Pilandok has a bitter enemy Bombola who goes looking for him and finds him
tied to a tree. Bombola then wonders why Pilandok has tied himself to a tree. Pilandok bluffs
Bombola and asks why he has not heard of the dreadful news about the sky falling. under
pilandok’s trickery he was able to convince bombola thus bombola started to panic and asks
for pilandok’s help, pilandok tells bombola to untie him and then pilandok tied the
unsuspecting bombola ang walks away leaving him to die of hunger.

The Ibálong, also known as Handiong or Handyong, is a 60-


stanza fragment of a Bicolano full-length folk epic of the Bicol
region of the Philippines, based on the Indian Hindu epics
Ramayana and Mahabharata. The epic is said to have been
narrated in verse form by a native poet called Kadunung. The
story portrays deeds in heroic proportions, centering on white
men or tawong-lipod who were warrior-heroes named, among
others, Baltog, Handyong, and Bantong. They came from
Boltavara, settling and ruling Bicolandia and its inhabitants. The
epic is set in the land of Aslon and Ibalong
