BAC POLICY NO. 2021-001

BAC POLICY AMENDING THE SCHEDULE

OF BAC REGULAR MEETING

On January 26, 2021, a change of the schedule was suggested and supported by most of
the attendees of the BAC Regular Meeting. Some expressed their ideas of having it on Mondays
at 1:30PM to 3:00PM and Wednesdays on 10:00AM to 11:30AM and most suggested to have it
once a week, either on Mondays at 1:30PM to 3:00PM or Wednesdays at 10:00AM to 11:30AM.
When the table was opened for the choices to get voted for, the option of having the regular
meeting on Wednesdays at 10:00AM to 11:30AM got the most votes of 8 out of 11 attendees.

Subject of Policy to be amended: Paragraph 3 of the POLICY “As such to expedite the
BAC transactions for better service, the Division Bids and Awards Committee Members,
Division Bids and Awards Committee - Secretariat, Technical Working Group including
concerned End-Users, Focal Person, Program Holders and Project Coordinators, if any, are
hereby enjoined to convene for regular weekly meetings on Tuesdays from 10am to 11:30am,
Thursdays from 1:30pm to 3:00pm and special meetings other than Tuesdays and Thursdays,
whenever the need arises.”

The amended portion will then read as follows: “As such to expedite the BAC
transactions for better service, the Division Bids and Awards Committee Members, Division Bids
and Awards Committee - Secretariat, Technical Working Group including concerned End-Users,
Focal Person, Program Holders and Project Coordinators, if any, are hereby enjoined to
convene for regular weekly meetings on Wednesdays from 10am to 11:30am and special
meetings other than Wednesdays, whenever the need arises.”

All other provisions stipulated in BAC Policy No. 2020-001 shall remain in effect until
revoked or amended by the Committee.

This Policy shall take effect immediately for guidance and compliance.
