Opening (Hook, Schoology drill! *Verbatim from Ms. Larrimore’s post, developed
Introduction, Warm-Up, from my own questions*
etc.)
Lets reflect a bit on the concert last night!

#1: Were you on time (in the chorus room before warm ups
began)? If not, explain why.

#2: Did you come with a positive attitude? What was your mood
like last night?

#3: Did you engage in professional behavior during the concert

experience? If so, give an example of some behavior you
exhibited. If not, explain your behavior.

#4: Did you put on your best performance? What are you proud
of yourself for accomplishing? What could you have changed?
(proper body alignment, singing with support, facial
expressions, correct notes and words)

Procedures Drill! Pull up Ms. Thayer’s Powerpoint

Brief overview of the topic. Last nights concert!

1. Come together for self assessment- raise your hand if

you were…
a. On time
b. Prepared (music, dress, attitude)
c. Focused at the very start of warm ups
d. Acting appropriately between songs and
performances
e. Using proper body alignment
f. Conveying a positive attitude
2. Group Assessment - was everyone doing the things
above so we could succeed as a group

3. SPLIT INTO SECTIONS (SAB)- on a posterboard, divide

two sections (with section name on the top). One side for
Glows, one side for Grows. Come up with three for each
category.
4. Choose a spokesperson, and after everyone finished,
share!
5. As a group, what were the most common glows/grows?
6. Circle the biggest “grow” that we should work towards for
the next semester!

7. If we had to rank the songs in terms of how well we

performed them, what’s the order?
