what modal verb is? Begin!
Modal Verb- It is a type of verb that is used to
indicate modality, ability, permission, request,
capacity, suggestions, order, obligations, and

3 characteristics.

Will you please read the 3 characteristics,

Baby Jane? Begin! No, Sir.

1. They never change their form. You

Value Integration

Now, based on our discussions awhile ago what

do you think is the importance of Modal Verbs in
the sentence, class?
May I have, Divine?

Modal verbs are important because these

add meaning to the main verb in a sentence
by using permission, modality, and the likes.
And without modal verbs we might commit
Wonderful!
an erroneous grammar.
Indeed, these modal verbs are used to express
ability, possibility, permission or obligation. Each
one of the modal verbs can be used to express one
or more of these modalities. They can also be
used to form the future tense in English and to
make conditional sentences. Thus, each of them is
important.

Remember, class, that it is critical to lean toward

correct grammar, such as modal verbs, so that we
do not commit erroneous/erratic grammar. The
more we use it, the more likely it is that we will
be perfect at constructing sentences with those
modal verbs.

Moreover, learning the use of modal verbs

appropriately is just like learning how to handle
problems in life. The process might be difficult
but if you have fully understood the concept of it;
then, I am certain you will be amazed.

Am I understood, class?
Yes, Sir.
