Introduction Music B roll footage

Gen z is now the most active users on social

media. Piece to camera with B roll
Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok are begging to
change gen z lives and even change the way
they think.

Rising numbers of social media users is causing

many people to share controversial views
online.
I am Daisy, looking into how misogyny is
affecting gen z.

Feminism and misogyny are becoming popular

topics to be discussed online, misogyny involves
punishing women for challenging male
dominance.

I am on my way to see Amy Hulcup who works

in safeguarding at Oxford Brooks university

First part of the interview Interview

So, I have just been watching this documentary

called Britain's Anti Feminists by Reggie yates, Piece to camera with B roll
and in part of it he has just to a talk about how-
to pick-up women however the views by the
men there especially the man talking have
portrayed is disgusting. The one thing it really
reminds me of is Andrew Tate.
Obviously Andrew Tate is very present right
now as it is 2023, and this documentary was
made in 2015, and to his this was made in 2015
and he is so similar to how Andrew Tate
portraits himself is quite scary to think all those
years and there is a lack of progression in
people's views against women and views being
put out into the media.

Over the past year there has been great

controversy over the man Andrew Tate. He first
gained famed in 2015 for kickboxing however is
more known for the strong opinions he shares
online.

Second part of the interview with Amy Hulcup Interview

So, I have just been looking a little bit more into
Andrew Tate and in this news report that has
been written about him, he has been described Piece to Camera
as an extreme misogynist who promotes
domestic abuse.
This man has had 11.6 million people view his
page and he is promoting things like that to
children as young as 8. There are children from
such young ages on social media that will be
seeing this. From an early age child are very
impressionable so they are bond to believe
some of the things they see online and if they
are seeing things such as what Andrew Tate
says you have to think what they are going to
be like when they are older.
