Journey Management Flowchart

A Journey Management plan must be developed and implemented when:


PLAN 1. includes driving vehicle for a period of time greater than 2 hours
JOURNEY 2. international travel
3. domestic travel to a remote or rural location (eg. Karratha)

To create a journey plan login at jesi.io and enter your username and password
1. Click on ‘New Route’ from the left hand menu.
2. Enter the ‘Origin’ and ‘Final Destination’
CREATE 3. Chose route by clicking on the most appropriate to the journey.
JOURNEY 4. If there are checkpoints along the way add these manually with the correct
USING location, time and date or zoom in on the selected route, press on the location (or
black dots) and insert checkpoint.

5. Modify time of arrival and date if necessary.
6. Click on ‘Save Journey’

TRIP RISK The TRA is a series of yes or no questions the traveler needs to complete before their
ASSESSMENT journey commences.

Commence Journey
• If travel is delayed or changed, edit journey and amend location check points as
COMMENCE required.
JOURNEY Reporting an Incident - If an incident occurs, please complete the following steps:
1. On the active journey there is a red Incident button.
2. Depending on the severity of the incident, select either “Report and Continue
Journey” or “Report and End Journey”
3. Include the details of the incident in the notes section. This information will be sent
to the relevant escalation contact

CHECKIN AT
CHECKPOINTS Check in can be conducted by the following actions:
