HIGH-PRESSURE ACTUATION FITTINGS

OVERVIEW:
In 2011, AFEX upgraded our systems to include high‐pressure actuation fittings. These high pressure fittings offer improved 
performance and aesthetics, while their hex surfaces make installation and service easier. 

With these benefits in mind, and to ensure consistency amongst installations, all AFEX system installations should use 
these high‐pressure actuation fittings.  

HOW THIS EFFECTS YOU:

If  you  are  still  using  galvanized  actuation  fittings,  please  implement  high‐pressure  fittings  for  all  of  your  new  system 
installations, even if you purchase your fittings from another supplier. Though there is no need to change systems that 
have already been installed, you may wish to update these systems as well during service.
