A200527 STAINLESS STEEL GAS TUBE ASSEMBLY

OVERVIEW:
AFEX will be upgrading our liquid agent tanks to a stainless steel gas tube design, beginning with the A200513 30 gallon
liquid agent tank. The A200511 15 gallon liquid agent tank and A201000 5 gallon liquid agent tank will also be upgraded
as stock is depleted.

In lieu of latex sleeving, the stainless steel gas tube uses a check valve to prevent backflow of the liquid agent through the
gas tube. The check valve must be installed in the correct orientation for proper function. Please refer to the information
below to ensure proper installation.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
As with the current non-stainless steel gas tube assembly, the gas tube itself will already be installed when you receive
the liquid agent tank. The A532120 ¼”street elbow, A905000 check valve, and A516510 ¼” coupling will be bagged and
ty-wrapped to the agent tank, and should be installed as per the diagram below.

NOTE: Check valve must flow towards the agent tank.
