Experiment baking soda

Characteristics:
Type: Chemical
Level of difficulty: Medium
Objective: Inflate a ballon by means of
baking soda and vinegar.
Materials and equipment:
*Protective lenses
*A ballon
*4 teaspoons of baking soda
*Half glass of vinegar
*500 ml. plastic bottle
*Funnel to easily put the baking soda inside
the ballon
Introducción:
The goal with this project is that when the
baking soda that is poured into the ballon
and make contact with the vinegar thus
achieving that the ballon to be inflated by
the chemical reaction they produce.
Investigation questions:
Why is the ballon inflated?
Because of the chemical reaction between
baking soda and vinegar forming these
carbon dioxide, since these are solid and
liquid forming the gaseous state that
increases it's volume, thus using the space of
the ballon inflating it.
