KUTTIKANAM,IDUKKI
introduction

 Kuttikkanam, is a hill station in Idukki district, Kerala, southern India. It is 3,500


feet above sea level and surrounded by lush green tea plantations.
Kuttikanam is among the best trekking and adventure sport locations in
Idukki. In contrast to other tourist destinations in Idukki, however, the level of
tourism in this area is extremely low. The majority of the locals living in the
region and its neighboring villages, such as Ayapankovil and Vandiperiyar,
are a tribal and backward community. They work primarily in tea
plantations, agriculture, and handicrafts. By creating an eco-tourist hub,
tourism in the area might expand, allowing locals to showcase their talents
and improve their economic situation.
 Aim-By designing an eco-tourist hub, develop the tourism in the
kuttikanam,Idukki and allowing local community to showcase their talents
and improve their economic situation.

 Objectives
1. to promote the ecotourism in idukki
2. To make the area a hub of community interaction and activities that reflect
the people in the area
3. Design spaces by using local materials and there by preserve the heritage
of the site
4. To expose the heritage and tribal community of the area
