The faculty of this school would like to extend our warmest greetings to you. We are writing to
request for any assistance from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office for our school.

Bagong Baryo Elementary School is a newly established school located in an urban poor
area in the municipality. The school was granted its permit to operate with no. E – 003, s. 2022
last September 28, 2023, signed by the regional director and commenced its operation last
October 15, 2022, with 231 eager learners from kindergarten to grade six with 13 dedicated
teachers and school head.
As a new school, it has no Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) and any
other funds allocated. This has made it challenging for the school to provide quality education to
the learners without proper and sufficient equipment/materials that can be used for the teaching-
learning process.

This school is home to learners from low-income families who are eager to learn and
excel to their maximum potential. But this could not be possible because of the difficulties in
providing them with the necessary tools for success. Thus, this institution is struggling to provide
modules, instructional materials, modern equipment, and school supplies among other things.

We understand that CSO has a long-standing commitment in supporting education Vision

and Mission to provide quality education to every Filipino learner. We are hoping that you can
