for New Manager


About this document
• The purpose of this document is to assist you as a new manager at Arcadis. It is intended as a checklist to ensure that you receive the most
important information as you settle into your role; it should be used alongside other key manager resources such as the Line Management
Experience (LMEx) intranet site and the Manager Support Hub.
• Your Line Manager is responsible for ensuring that you complete the list within your first three months in role; he/she will start by reviewing the list
with you, then introduce you to your People Business Partner (PBP) who will help you to complete the first part of the checklist, and to others
(such as the Operations Director, Finance, or other Subject Matter Experts [SMEs]) who will help you to complete the remainder.
• Items in grey apply to all new managers and those in orange show the additional items you’ll need to cover if you’re brand new at Arcadis.
• Note that
o Items marked * in the checklist may not currently be available in all locations.
o The template may be adapted and amended for local or business area priorities as needed.
• Responsibilities:
o The PBP is responsible for passing a copy of this checklist to the Line Manager as part of the onboarding kit for all new managers
(whether internally promoted or newly hired).
o The Line Manager is responsible for ensuring that all parts have been completed during the new manager’s first three months in role.
o And you are responsible for making sure that you complete all the parts in your first three months in role.
