Since inception we’ve continually developed the TAP Skills

The TAP 3-Step approach to quality-assured L&D is the
APPROACH culmination of research, consultation and development that
underpins our two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise: Innovation -
2005 and 2016.

Assessors
We assist organisations to develop their own in-house TAP-
Certified Assessors to ensure the ongoing quality of training and
learning interventions. The innovative TAP Certified Assessor
programme now embraces training delivery, training design
(classroom and eLearning) and online facilitation.

The processes learned will ensure that training is designed for delivery to best-practice TAP
methodology. Training will be designed using a well-defined structure containing robust objectives,
appropriate learning methods, and relevant practice activities and tests, focused on ensuring learning
transfer.
BLENDED LEARNING*
Delegates explore what blended learning means and the key ingredients for success. They learn how
to apply new technologies to their learning interventions, identify the benefits and how to overcome
any concerns about blended learning. They also apply a logical approach to the design of effective
and efficient blended solutions.
Delegates apply the stages of the development process for eLearning from a top level design to a
finished eLearning module. They learn how to design effective and engaging eLearning materials,
gain tips on writing for the screen and gain hands-on experience using an authoring tool.
Delegates will gain the skills to write digital content for communication campaigns such as blogs and
social media posts to engage the reader through storytelling, personality and language style.
This course gives trainers and business partners the robust consultative methodology required to
manage challenging and assertive stakeholders, conducting structured meetings with planned
outcomes.
This course gives trainers or training designers an effective process to follow when analysing the
learning needs of individuals and the business.
This course gives L&D leaders the confidence to draft and implement their L&D strategy, and to

MANAGING LEARNING TRANSFER
Designed for L&D, Organisational Development Managers and L&D consultants responsible for
the implementation of strategic and bespoke learning interventions across the organisation. The
programme focuses on the MACRO Learning Transfer model, providing an effective timeline to ensure
successful application of learning in the workplace.
Delegates learn how to facilitate and manage successful coaching sessions which support coachees
in attaining both developmental goals and performance objectives.
This course helps delegates to produce material that communicates a powerful visual message.
It ensures that the design of all support materials, whether electronic or printed, are effective and
stimulating, regardless of subject matter or presentation packages used to convey them.
This course will enable delegates to write an exciting and effective digital learning strategy for today’s
modern workplace to meet key business drivers and engage employees.
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
L&D ADMINISTRATION
This course reviews key tasks of the administrator’s role, using a range of strategies, resources and
technologies.
MENTORING SKILLS
Using the MENTOR process, delegates learn the behaviours of a Mentor and a structured approach
which supports individuals in achieving their aspirational goals.
Delegates will gain practical experience of planning and facilitating live webinars and self-paced
activities that keep participants’ attention in an online environment.

The TAP Certified Assessor Programme enables organisations to
internally assess and manage the quality assurance of training
TAP design and delivery, against TAP Standards. This ensures that
those in the business with TAP Certificates have their skills and
CERTIFIED capability regularly maintained to best-practice standards.
Each assessor programme is accessible to organisations with
ASSESSOR teams that employ a minimum of four people holding a valid TAP
Certificate in either Training Delivery, Design and/or e-Learning
PROGRAMME Design.
However, if there isn’t a team of four+ or there is benefit in having
the assessment completed at arms-length, we can provide a
TAP Lead Consultant to carry out assessment on your behalf.
This service is frequently used by organisations that wish to
demonstrate absolute objectivity in the assessment, with
the added value of drawing on the experience of a TAP Lead
Consultant.
Certified Assessors, under a Code of Practice, will be able to assess potential new trainers as part
of the recruitment process, internal trainers as part of the performance management process and
external trainers as part of the management of outsourcing projects.
Also, as part of their internal staff development procedures, assessors can re-assess trainers whose
TAP Certificate in Training Delivery is more than a year old.
4 days (2+2)
Certified Design Assessors, having successfully completed the programme, will be able to assess the
quality of learning materials designed and developed by personnel holding the relevant TAP Training
Design qualifications.
A blended format is also available for this certificate, comprising of two-day classroom event followed
by online self-paced activities

We all recognise that SMEs are more than just content experts,
they’re critical in the effective transfer of skills and knowledge to
others. To be set up to win and be truly effective, SME’s need the
SUBJECT skills to engage with learners and deliver training in ways that
encourage retention and workplace application.
MATTER Whilst there are standards relating to content, (the ‘WHAT’), this
only makes up 50% of the learning equation. Equal consideration

All TAP Public Schedule courses are held in Coventry, London or Manchester. There are many benefits
of attending public courses, the chance to network, learn from other peoples experiences/examples,
allocated time to concentrate on your course without external interruptions.
CLOSED COURSES
Do you have 4 or more delegates but nowhere to hold the course at your premises? We can help with
this, there is an option to hold the course at any of our training sites, over 20 locations including most
