Dear Sir/ Madam,

LETTER OF INVITATION

I write on behalf of the Ashanti Regional branch of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives
Association (GRNMA) to inform you that the Association will be organizing a seminar to mark
this year’s International Day of Midwife (IDM) under the theme: ʽʽUnity Among Midwives̕: A
key factor in the Empowerment of Midwives in Ghana̓̕̕̕̕̕̕̕.

You are therefore requested to present two (2) Midwives from your respective districts to
participate in the Seminar with Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) and Kumasi
Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) presenting four (4) Midwives each on the 10th of May, 2023 at
the GRNMA Guest house- Krapa- Ejisu at 10: 00 am.

Districts with Nursing and Midwifery Training College (NMTC) are to liaise with the Principals
to submit one (1) Midwifery Tutor and one (1) Midwife who is a Ghana Nurse – Midwife
Trainee Association (GNMTA) or a Student Representative Council (SRC) executive.
