 Students will be allowed to join the session when it is their appointment time. They will wait
in the Waiting Room until then.
 Before the exam, students must check the list of the students who can take the EOM exam.
Only those students who meet the criteria to enter the EOM exam are entitled to this exam.
Otherwise, the scores will be considered null and void. Students need to check the list for
their names first.
 Students will take the EOM Speaking part in turns, while one student takes the exam, the
other one observes the exam of the other student.
 Each student’s exam will take around 4-5 minutes (2 minutes for each question). Before
each question, students will have around 20 seconds to think about their answer but they
cannot take notes.
 The questions the students choose will be shared on the screen so that they can see and
read them. The question numbers once chosen will be highlighted so that the students will
see which numbers were chosen and don’t choose them again.
 There will be two instructors in the class: one is the interlocutor and the other one is the
assessor. The interlocutor will be communicating with the students. The assessor will just be
scoring the student’s performance, no communication.
 The students will wait in the waiting room until their time comes and the interlocutor will
take the students into the class.
 If one of the students is absent in one pair, the student who is present can take the exam
alone as the exam is recorded.
 If both students in one pair are absent at the given time, the instructors can wait until the
next pair’s time or take other student(s) from the next slot(s).
 Late-comers or students who have technical problems at the time of the exam will be
interviewed at the end of the Speaking part. Students who have technical problems during
the exam should inform their instructors at that time or before the exam, not when the exam
is over. Checking the gadgets in order not to have any technical problems is the
responsibility of the student.
 First, Student A will choose a question number from the numbers the instructor shows on
the screen. If the student says that s/he has no idea about the question, s/he can choose
another question number only once. After the first question is over, Student A will choose
another question number from the numbers the instructor shows on the screen. If the
student says that s/he has no idea about the question s/he has chosen, s/he can choose
another question only once. When Student A finishes his/her quiz, Student B will take the
quiz and the other student will observe him/her.
 There are two questions students need to answer. They will get a score out of 20 as their
EOM Speaking grade.
