Las belugas, también llamadas ballenas blancas.
Al nacer son grises o marrones, y se van volviendo blancas cuando maduran a los cinco años de
edad.
Las ballenas blancas son bastante pequeñas y miden entre 4 y 6 metros.
Las belugas suelen vivir en pequeños grupos. Para comunicarse emplean el lenguaje de
chasquidos, silbidos . Además, pueden imitar diversos sonidos de otro tipo.

Estas ballenas habitan en las aguas de las costas del océano Ártico, aunque también están
presentes en regiones subárticas.
Viven de treinticinco a cincuenta años
