AUDIT OF ULTRASONIC TESTING OF AXLES

UST SECTION DATE: 10/04/2023 TIME- 1100 HRS.

1. Deficiency observed:
Sufficient numbers of UFD machines not available for all operators.
Remedial action: Asked CMS/LAB to procure two/three more UFDs.

2) Deficiency observed:
External hard drive for Data/A-Scan pattern saving is found to be corrupted.
Remedial action: Asked CMS/LAB to procure two new external hard drives (1TB).

2) Deficiency observed: AMC of the available UFD’s not done.

Remedial action: Asked CMS/LAB to initiate process for AMC of UFD’s.
