ABC's of Geometry:

A - Angle: The space between two intersecting lines or surfaces measured in degrees.
B - Bisect: To divide into two equal parts.
C - Cone: A three-dimensional shape with a circular base and a curved surface that tapers to a point.
D - Diameter: A straight line that passes through the center of a circle or sphere and touches its
circumference or surface at two points.
E - Edge: The line segment where two faces of a solid figure meet.
F - Frustum: A geometric figure formed by cutting off the top of a cone or pyramid with a plane parallel
to the base.
G - Geodesic: The shortest distance between two points on a curved surface, such as a sphere.
H - Hypotenuse: The longest side of a right triangle, opposite the right angle.
I - Isosceles: A triangle with two sides of equal length.
J - Joint: The point where two or more line segments or curves meet.
K - Kite: A quadrilateral with two pairs of equal adjacent sides.
L - Line segment: A part of a line that has two endpoints.
M - Median: A line segment from a vertex of a triangle to the midpoint of the opposite side.
N - Net: A two-dimensional pattern that can be folded to create a three-dimensional object.
O - Octahedron: A polyhedron with eight faces.
P - Perpendicular: Two lines or surfaces that intersect at a right angle.
Q - Quadrilateral: A four-sided polygon.
R - Rhombus: A quadrilateral with four sides of equal length.
S - Sphere: A three-dimensional shape with a curved surface that is equidistant from a fixed point.
T - Tangent: A line that touches a curve or surface at exactly one point.
U - Uniform: A shape or solid figure with all sides or faces the same size and shape.
V - Vertex: A point where two or more line segments or curves meet to form an angle.
W - Wedge: A three-dimensional shape with a triangular base and two sloping sides that meet at a point.
X - X-axis: The horizontal axis in a coordinate system.
Y - Y-axis: The vertical axis in a coordinate system.
Z - Zero: The point on a number line or coordinate system that represents neither a positive nor a
negative value.
