Main Idea •
Objective: The students will create a video (2-3 minutes long
minimum) showcasing information about an
“ animal “ they select or have explored about in which you can
talk about “special features and habitat” •
The VIDEO INFORMATION can be selected from the
information in their books , the link provided or from google.
• The information must be carried on by the students in front of
the camera as they can receive help for things that require more
precision.

• Materials:
❑ The video can be mp4 or mov. ❑ The students can
use any materials they have at home to create the
props for their videos and have a proper decoration .

How to do it •
The video will be divided in 3 segments :
1) Introduction • The students will introduce themselves (name,
grade), the date, the value and the title of their video .
2) Preparation • The students will present the materials and
tools needed for the video .
3) Content • The students will carry on with their information
about the selected “ animal” in front of the camera step by step
while explaining .
• At the end of the video, the students must provide a conclusion
(it can be if the animal is “ endangered” or “ endemic species”
etc . )
• The video can have a background and/or visual helpers
(images/animations/drawings/ etc .

( 5%)• Grammar: Correct usage of the tenses (Past simple,
future, past, present) and sentences grammatically correct.•
(5%).Vocabulary: Correct usage and spelling of the

(5%) • Science: Usage and knowledge of the content.
(5%) • Quality: Good presentation, creativity, clarity.
