Intro
This report was about the founder of facebook,
Mark Zuckerberg. Our purpose for writing this
report was to share his life and how he created
facebook. This was our 14 years old opinion and
we recommend people to read our report.

Background Information

Before the story starts, this is the story about the

founder of Facebook. Mark Zukerberg was born on
May 14th, 1984, at White Plains City(the City in
Newyork). Mark’s parents are Edwards Zukerberg
and Karen Kempner. And he has three sisters,
Randi Zukerberg , Arielle Zukerberg and Donna
Zukerberg. He has been interested in creating
computer programs since he was young. He was
born with a gift.Mark is responsible for settings the
overall direction and product strategy for the
company.He was only 19 when he found
facebook.Mark Zuckerberg works 50-60 hours per
week.Mark Zuckerberg is an INTJ personality type.
Zuckerberg has never revealed what brand of
denim he prefers.Facebook open its first India
office in 2010,four years after it went
online.Zuckerberg only took 2 weeks to build the
first version of facebook.Facebook have 2.89
billions monthly active users.

Mark Zukerberg young life

Mark Zuckerberg was born on May 14th, 1984, at

White Plains City(the City in New York). Mark’s
parents are Edwards Zukerberg and Karen
Kempner. He has three sisters called Randi
Zukerberg , Arielle Zukerberg and Donna
Zukerberg . He was raised in Dobbs Ferry. His
Father is a dentist, Edwards’s dental clinic was
next door to their house. His father's dental clinic’s
X-ray and other activities introduced Mark to
computer technology. Mark was taught to use the
ATARI 400 by his father.Mark learned so fast.

In 1996, 12 years old Mark created a computer

program called “Zunet”, to solve his father’s dental
clinic problems. Receptionist had to say a loud
voice to Edwards when the patients came. Mark
created “Zunet” , the first word “Zu” was from his
name. Mark’s Zunet can send direct messages
from his home to his father’s dental clinic. Because
of “Zunet” , a Receptionist can send messages to
Edwards every time the patients come.
Mark created his own games. His friends came to
his house to show their drawings and he created
them into games.

Mark went to Ardsley highschool, But his parents

wanted him to go to a better school. He took the
entrance exam of Phillips Exeter Academy. And
Phillips Exeter Academy school had accepted him.
He still got good marks in Phillips Exeter Academy.
And He graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy.

Founding the Facebook

Mark decided to study at Harvard university, after
Phillips Exeter Academy. For the application, Mark
had a lot to submit. He can read French, Hebrew,
Greek, Latin and Chinese.In the last year of
Phillips Exeter Academy school, Harvard accepted
Mark’s application.
In the Last year of Phillips Exeter Academy,Mark
created the “Synapse” MP3 music player program
by himself.

Mark was only created for a school project but

“Synapse”became popular and spread to the
internet.And Social companies slowly noticed
Mark’s program. And he got rejected offers from
Microsoft and AOL companies to buy a MP3 media
player “Synapse”.

He studied at Harvard in 2002, and he created two

software-CourseMatch and Facemash.

Coursematch was for students.Which

helped students at the beginning of
each semester choose the course they
would like to study.

FACEMASH was created for a prank. Mark said in

an interview that “Facemash was a prank website
that I launched in college, in my dorm room,Before
I started Facebook.”
For the Facemash users, It showed two pictures of
girls and had to choose who is hotter.Mark was
brought to Harvard's Administrative Board,of
violating,individual privacy,breaching security and
violating.Harvard threatened to expel Mark, but
they eventually decided Mark to stay.
After all,he built Facebook in 2004.Mark founded
Facebook with Eduardo Saverin, Andrew
McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes.

What is Facebook?

Facebook is the most popular social media site in

the world. In 2009 Facebook became the number
one social network in the US and became
successful worldwide, getting facebook users in
every country.Facebook users can upload profile
picture, post and videos. Have many activities to
enjoy with facebook users.

What happened to their Friendship?

Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin worked on
Facebook and it was a great success.
However,Eduardo Saverin sued Mark Zuckerberg
for using him and his ownership’s diluted by 0.3%.

“I was your only friend and you set me up,” said

Eduardo Saverin, who felt betrayed after he read
that his ownership was diluted. After that tragedy
happened, Facebook was rising after many
companies’ campaigns signed in for Facebook.
Many people forgot about Eduardo Saverin and
Mark Zukerberg’s friendship but that was not the
case at all now.
Facebook was raised during criticism

Mark Zukerberg got questioned by people and the

media shared fake posts about Facebook.

Mark Zukerberg defended Facebook and the story

did not end there. Facebook was down to 19
million dollars but Mark Zukerberg recovered it.
There were only two versions of Facebook
because it was worldwide and a true story.

Mark Zukerberg’s popularity

The Social Network was the movie of Mark

Zukerberg’s life, and got a 7.7 IMDb rating.Cast
are Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Gerfield and
more other cast.
“Social Network '' was about his life but Mark
Zukerberg said that the film had the right and
wrong parts.
To show Mark Zukerberg’s popularity, the
Simpsons had added Mark in their Simpsons
series.In an episode of “Loan-a-Lisa '' Mark told
Lisa that people don’t need to go to school to be
successful .

Reflection
I felt bad for Mark Zukerberg because his friend
thought he used him. Eduardo Saverin could not
be angry at Mark Zuckerberg and Mark
Zuckerberg should not have diluted the ownership
of Eduardo Saverin. The world was better now
because of my subject because I wanted people to
know about Mark Zukerberg’s life and how he
successfully created Facebook. If I were Mark
Zukerberg, I would not dilute the ownership of
Eduardo Saverin. I would make people interested
in Facebook. I think the story was really about the
founder of Facebook. My friends didn’t know about
this story but I hope they read my report and know
Mark Zuckerberg. Facebook becoming successful
would be the part to apply to my real life.

Conclusion
The topic was about the founder of facebook who
created Zunet, Synapse, Course Match,
Facemash and Facebook, which became
successful. Mark Zukerberg is a generous man
who wants people to socialise on Facebook.
