The Social Network, 2010 American drama biographical film. This film tells the story of how Facebook
came into being. That is, starting with the inadvertence of Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg). Mark is a
19 year old genius student who attends Harvard University, he has an ordinary stature, and looks a little
strange, arrogant during a conversation, Mark usually doesn't want to make eye contact. Despite that,
Mark has a beautiful girlfriend, named Erica Albright (Mara), a girl who is also 19 years old. Since their
chats were often out of sync, Erica decided to leave Mark. He gets drunk and writes a blog containing
harsh words for Erica. As a result of the end of the relationship, Mark made Mark to create a site to
express his frustration. He finally created a site called Facemash, Mark the genius student assisted by his
friend, Eduardo Saverin.

Throughout the film, Mark is very expressive, he loves money, he loves computers, he works together
with his algorithms. Young people will see Zuckerberg as a truly advanced person, a celebrity, and
determined to protect what he has created. Both Facebook and Zuckerberg called the betrayal in the film a
fiction. Through the New Yorker magazine, Zuckerberg denied if his character as depicted in the film.
Facebook is one of the biggest phenomena on the Internet.
Quite a few years since its establishment has made its creators the richest billionaires. However, Facebook
in the real world cannot be separated from controversy. Then three students at Harvard stated that it was
they who had the idea of making Facebook. They accused Zuckerberg, who was hired to code the site, of
stealing the idea and creating Facebook. In the film the social network raises the question that can success
be achieved without being the least bit cruel? and from the film it teaches that stubbornness, not wanting
to hear what people have to say to us is the beginning of development to create new things.

Mark Zuckerberg sat down at his computer and started working on something new. In terms of blogging
and programming, what started in his dorm room soon became a global social network and a revolution in
communication. Mark is given six months of academic probation for Facemash. The Winklevoss Twins,
two Harvard rowers, approach him with the prospect of developing Facemash into Harvard Connection.
Mark agrees as a facade, as he only wants to be around the twins for their social connections. Instead, he
secures capital from his friend Eduardo.
And the result is a social network called Thefacebook. The social network which was later only named
Facebook grew tremendously which eventually brought abundant material to Mark and his friends.
Mark's pranks seem to steal the attention of the Winklevoss twins (Armie Hammer and Josh Pence). They
then asked Mark to join as a programmer in creating a special friendship site for Harvard. Mark agreed.
But what happened next, he was even engrossed in making theFacebook site with his friends. He was
busy adding some coding to the new theFacebook app.

The film ends with Sean being arrested for drug possession. Eduardo and The Winklevoss Twins both
settle with Mark outside of court. Mark logs onto Facebook and looks up his old girlfriend Erica, who he
requests to add as a friend. the statement that the twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss received a
payment of $65 million, so this film still has its own charm because everything we do has consequences.
This film can also teach us to keep trying. And relying on the social circle of friends is important to help
us achieve our dreams.
