ABSTRACT

In this study, the researcher used the descriptive-evaluative research design to

find out the level of readiness towards college education of grade 12 learners

and their common motivation in it. The nature of motivation and readiness was

vital to improving learners’ outcomes. Simple random sampling method was

applied considering that only selected Grade 12 learners of RMMC were included

in the study. Weighted arithmetic mean and ranking were used to analyze the

gathered data. Results showed that the learners’ level of readiness towards

education when it comes to peers and family/parents is ready and they are

moderately ready in financial and self. Moreover, it was determined by the

researcher that the level of readiness of Grade 12 learners of RMMC towards

college education on the academic year 2021-2022. Also, it was found out that

the learners are most motivated towards college education because of

themselves, family/parents, and financial support while they are motivated with

peers. Furthermore, it was determined by the researcher that the Grade 12

learners of RMMC are motivated towards college education

advices and corrections for the improvement of his study, for giving motivations

and encouragements to help him finish his study.

expertise, corrections and suggestions for the improvement of his study. They

were also able to give some relevant ideas in attaining a more precise and better

version of this study.

To the parents, relatives and guardians for giving not only financial

support, but also moral support that really matters. Despite the hardships and

adversities that the researcher faced, their presence served as his inspiration to

overcome these challenges; from the construction of this study to the finishing

touches of this study.

Most of all, this research may not be possible without the greet presence

and guidance of the Almighty God.
