BED SHAMPOO

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
After 3 hours of participative lecture – discussion, the BSN 1 students will be able
to develop a positive attitude, gain knowledge and acquire skills on the concept of Bed
Shampoo.

Specifically the students will be able to:

1. Show positive attitude towards the patient regardless of culture, ethnicity, and
condition.
2. Value the importance of bed shampoo in alleviating a patient's condition.
3. State the purpose of bed shampoo.
4. Identify the various ways of providing bed shampoo to different types of clients in
need.
5. Perform the procedure according to the protocol.
6. Provide comfort to patients after giving bed shampoo.
